Gonstead chiropractic does extensive research before any physical adjustment. It blows my mind how any other chiro can do what they do without scans at least. It should be illegal. With Dr Marcos and Jonathan you feel like you’re their only patient. They have a substantial amount of patience and always have time to make sure you fully understand and are comfortable. This is my follow up review from my previous post. I have had over 100 adjustments to correct 65 years of poor posture, untreated injuries and plain aches and pains. My current adjustments are in refining the vertebrae align so that I am reaching optimum health. A recent thorough blood test at a medical center confirms it. I do not take any medication even thought I am over 70. I am a personal witness to the Gonstead Chiropractic code that the human body has everything it needs to heal provided and this is a BIG IF, the brain, nervous system (i.e. vertebrae's), organs, glands, muscles, tissues, and ever part of the body is functioning at full capacity which I can now attest would be almost impossible without proper Gonstead Chiropractic care from Dr Marcos Perivolaris. I may sound like a missionary on a quest, in my own way I am for I have seen and felt the difference in my life. I hope you step over your skepticism to try it and see for yourself rather than listening to people who are not qualified to advise you properly. 5/10/2025 I wanted to wait until my initial set of sessions were completed so I can give more comprehensive review. First I have been under chiropractic care since 2006 and will state that I have never had such an intensive and complete examination by a chiropractor like Dr Marcos Perivolaris of Gonstead Chiropractic of Sarasota. Furthermore, the treatments were very different in that instead of just pushing down or turning the vertebrae, Dr Marcos had a definite vector in which he move the vertebrae while closing looking at the extensive X-rays he had done initially. This meant that he was directing the vertebrae into it "original normal" position so that the body can heal itself. The results speak for themselves. Every area of my health that was blocked by the subluxation of vertebraes are showing noticeable improvement such as urinating better, better bowel movements, better sleep cycles, less aches and pains after long walks, and many other symptoms. If you are suffering from nerve pains or have health issues, you owe it to your self to make an appointment with Dr Marcos.

My husband and I arrived in Sarasota on a Tuesday after a 3 day trip driving from our home in New Hampshire. My chiropractor from home already connected w Dr. Marcos’ office regarding my previous chiropractic care for hip pain and I had an appointment for that Thursday as a follow up. Over the years I’ve been to so many different chiropractors to address my lower back pain. With all of these doctors, I would see some relief the week of adjustment, but the pain would soon come back. The doctors at this clinic seem to use a sniper approach to see exactly what segments need to be adjusted as opposed to getting all of my bones cracked at other clinics. I was also experiencing intense sleep insomnia and didn’t even consider this to be an issue chiropractic could address. After my very through (2 hour) exam, my sleep insomnia was brought up. I have been a patient for 3 weeks now and sleep for over 8 hours with ease. Not to mention, the lower back pain is gone and is not coming back. This is thanks to the very thorough analysis done on every single visit! Can’t recommend this clinic enough! This is what I consider TRUE chiropractic!

What an ABSOLUTE miracle worker Dr Marcos is. I’ve had neck and back issues for over 25 years. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Marcos and Dr Brittani. I saw a massage therapist at another chiropractor's office who, without my consent, attempted to aggressively adjust my neck and upper back before I even had a chance to realize what was happening. PLEASE KNOW THAT NO MASSAGE THERAPIST IS LICENSED TO DO THIS AND BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU GO! ASK QUESTIONS AND SPEAK UP. The next day I was in tremendous pain and have been since. Being in a similar field as an acupuncturist, the Gonstead approach makes sense to me. After a month of seeing Dr Marcos, I am in the least amount of pain I have been in since the injury, my neck is not seizing up, and progress is continuing to be made. I feel hopeful again. When I left I now knew what the issues were going forward, how long it could take and what was needed with a course of action and comprehensive treatment plan created by the Dr’s based on X-Rays, examination and expertise to heal and recover. It has been well worth the time and treatment especially when someone like myself really had no clue as to how long my body has been effected and was in chronic pain. After a month of being in their care I am much better and eternally thankful for their help! If you’re at all not feeling right, an adjustment maybe the right thing for a better path to health. I’d recommend the team of Gonstead Chiropractic because they are energetic, educated and compassionate about their work. This place is more than a chiropractor. I have been to many, many chiropractors claiming they could fix my lower back problems, with absolutely minimal to no results. I have been adjusted here 2 times and have already experienced more relief than years at anywhere else. Not only do they pinpoint exactly where the problem is and where to adjust, they dive deep into your whole body to resolve other problems that contribute to your overall wellness. Here's what I like best about this place- the people. Dr. Marcos and Dr. Brittany are just terrific people- down-to-earth, caring, knowledgable and helpful. There is no heavy sales pitch that I have received from other partitioners, and they take the time to show you and explain what's wrong and what their treatment plan will be. I drove down to Florida from Wisconsin and arrived in debilitating back pain after having been through numerous treatment modalities prescribed by my orthopedic surgeon (no surgery thank god) including, physical therapy, dry and wet needling, and drug therapy. I have been under Dr. Marco's care for about two months and I now have relief and have a path forward with another Gonstead clinic in my hometown when I return (tomorrow, unfortunately). These are GOOD PEOPLE- give them a try. You will not regret it!

What I have been searching for!! I recently tried 6 chiropractors. I gave them months of my life without any success. But Dr. Marcos is different! With each visit you are evaluated. After each adjustment you walk it out and are checked again. If you need more manipulation, you get it. I had relief after the very first visit. It is a new, clean, comfortable location.
